Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Food Reviews: What to Eat and What to Skip
Disney foods are always a key part of any Disney trip, so I was so excited to try out the newest restaurants at Tokyo DisneySea with the opening of Fantasy Springs!
There aren’t too many new food establishments, and I didn’t get to try everything, but here’s my review of all the items I did get to try, so you know what to eat and what you might want to skip.
Snuggly Duckling
Fried Shrimp Burger: Eat
This was one of my favorite foods in the land! I liked it so much I got it several times, and I’m confident that this is a good go-to spot for a solid sandwich/burger.
The shrimp patty is very thick and flavorful. It reminds me a lot of a fried shrimp ball, which I’m a fan of. The sandwich buns are soft and like a brioche bun, which I also really like. I enjoy the cole slaw on this burger as well - it’s nice and refreshing and a little tart. The sauce used in this burger is also tasty and I just wish there was more of it!
Rapunzel’s Magical Milk Tea: Skip (for flavor), Get (for photo)
Rapunzel’s Magical Milk tea is very pretty! This drink is both very fruity and very milky at the same time, and the texture is very thick and creamy after mixing. I’m not exactly sure what fruit flavoring is used here. It might be a mango sugar sprinkled on the top, and the flavoring in the drink tastes like lychee to me. Either way the fruity flavors are quite strong but also milky/creamy at the same time. I didn’t taste much tea in this drink, so it mostly tasted like a fruity milk. I thought I enjoyed it at first, but after a while, it was too sweet for my taste and I personally had a hard time finishing it.
I did like the jellies and the tapioca balls.
Unless you’re getting this for the aesthetic, I would personally skip this.
Sweet Ever After: SKIP
I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a treat at a Disney park more than this one, I’m so sad to say. I definitely got this for the presentation because it’s in a frying pan dish, and because this dish came with an optional Tangled souvenir plate add-on. If not for that, I would for sure skip it.
The pancake is suuuper dry, and the lemon cream is somehow also very dry? The cream itself is very grainy as well even though it looks like it would be smooth. I think the only part of this that I did enjoy was the strawberry jam, but it wasn’t enough to save it in my opinion.

Butter Curry Chicken Lost Kids’ Snack Box: Get
I quite like the Lost Kids’ snack boxes, I think they make for a pretty good snack! The boxes themselves come with a few pieces of fried chicken dusted in one of two flavors as well as some shrimp crackers, a popover, and a few other chip/snack items. Each of the items themselves are pretty good - the banana chips are probably my least favorite, but they’re all pretty solid. There aren’t too many chicken pieces though, but enough for a small snack.
I really liked the butter curry flavor, I thought it was pretty prominent on the chicken and it had a nice savory flavor.
Lemon Tea Chicken Lost Kids’ Snack Box: Get
The Lemon Tea Chicken Lost Kids’ Snack Box is essentially the same as the Butter Curry Chicken version, but with a different flavoring on the chicken. This one is also pretty good, you can taste the slight tartness from the lemon and a nice subtle tea flavor as well. The flavoring for this one is a lot more subtle than the buttery curry flavor, but it’s still pretty good.
Between the two though, I personally prefer the butter curry chicken flavor.
Pixie Dust Soda: Get
One of my new favorite drinks at Tokyo DisneySea! (second to the Coffee Tapioca Latte at Mamma Biscotti’s Bakery of course!)
The presentation of this drink is so cute and totally reminds me of Tinker Bell. And I love that it tastes really good also! I’m a big fan of tart drinks and this reminded me of a lemon lime soda or a light lemonade but with less sweetness. This definitely leans more sour than sweet (which I personally prefer!)
I especially love the big star topping! It melts away into the drink when you mix it and breaks into mini yellow star jellies!! It’s such a fun and cute little experience and the star jellies are so good too!
Food I Didn’t Try
Fantasy Springs has two additional food spots as well: the Royal Banquet of Arendelle and Oaken’s OK Foods. I didn’t try the food at either of these places because they didn’t really call out to me.
The Royal Banquet of Arendelle only has two meal sets to choose from - a beef or seafood meal set. I think they were going for a more upscale type of experience here, but since the food items weren’t that interesting to me, I chose to skip them.
Oaken’s OK Foods is a small food stall that has a main pastry that it sells alongside soft drinks. The Yoo-Hoo Bread contains cardamom and meat, which is a bit of an interesting combination. I wasn’t super interested in trying, but if you do, let me know what you think!
